Winter weather hit the Kincardine area Thursday night, with cold, wind and snow, causing slippery roads and poor driving conditions. Some out-of-town events had to be cancelled because of the inclement weather, including the Ladies Night at the Tiverton Baptist Church which has been re-scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. The snow didn't last for long as it had mostly disappeared by Friday morning. However the forecast is for more snow, cold and windy weather arriving Monday, so get those hats, mitts, winter coats and snow boots out.
