A Christmas display in the park

It's a small community, but the town of Formosa has some very striking scenes and historical buildings.

Church of the Immaculate Conception

The church, built in 1880, was designed as a German Gothic Roman Catholic Church and is an imposing structure seated on the top of the hill leading to the downtown  of Formosa.

The park in the centre of town features a Christmas display from which many communities could take a page.  A full-sized lifelike display, it lights up the town and immediately attracts visitors who stop for a second look.
