Mammography fundraiser one step closer to goal thanks to Zumbathon

Fitness Corner:  Vanje Watson & Holly Vanderzwet present a $3,000 cheque to SMHF: Christine Kelly & Pretty in Pink: Sylvia Sheard.

The Digital Mammography fundraising campaign in Saugeen Shores is another $3,000 toward its goal thanks to the ZUMBA party organized by holly Vanderzwet, owner of Fitness Corner in Port Elgin.

More than 100 women from throughout Saugeen Shores took part in the 'healthy zumba' lead by national Zuma trainer, Carlos Henriquez.

The participants paid $30 each with proceeds to the Mammography campaign.

Christine Kelly, Development Officer and Treasurer of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, said that the ladies of Saugeen Shores inspire community pride.  "A gigantic thanks to Holly, Carlos, the Fitness Corner team and all the participants who came out to help fight breast cancer in our community."
