The Day Away Program is a fantastic and integral part of providing a social setting for a number of Seniors in Saugeen Shores.

The Staff and Caregivers are to be commended for their efforts in organizing activities and providing transportation and support for a variety of clients.

Jack Gross who was one of the people reported on in this article is a wonderful example of shear enthusiasm.   As noted, he really enjoys music and he has a great voice.

It is both an honour and privilege to participate as a volunteer in the musical part of the Day Away Program once a month and I would encourage those who know of someone who would benefit from this kind of program to get in contact with Home and Community Support Services.
