Editor: Some noticed that Santa also had a new suit this year and the wide-eyed children were excited for the chance to meet him face-to-face at the parade's end. To the Editor: I would like to thank all the volunteers who worked so hard to put on the Santa parade in Port Elgin. Our children were thrilled with all the lights and knew many of the kids in the parade. This is a home town event that everyone enjoys and waits for all year. When Santa said hello to our little boy by name, it was the thrill of a lifetime for him!. Again, thanks to everyone for making this happen.
