East Coast Jam Sessions bring dances and musicians out on Sunday afternoons

Local musicians enjoy 'jamming'

The 'Jamboree' sessions at Port Elgin have begun for another winter season.

"What better way to spend a Sunday winter afternoon," says event co-founder, Ernie Oliver, "than to listen to great 'down 'ome' music and get out on the dance floor."

Held once a month on Sunday afternoons, musicians from throughout the area come together to 'jam' for a packed house of people who enjoy dancing to 'old-time' tunes.
