The crowd was huge as people gathered this year to help Santa light the Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Christmas tree in St. Andrews Park. The fire department had a truck for the children to go through and the horse-drawn wagon rides around the village were a hit. Take a moment to enjoy the lights as you walk through the park. Fraser Lamont has hit the Forty List twice as of this past Saturday. Fraser, you are looking great for 80 years young! The Tiverton and District Lions extend an invitation to all Seniors (65 years of or older) to attend their Christmas Dinner Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton. This invitation is extended to those seniors living in Tiverton, Glammis, Inverhuron, as far north as North Bruce and south to the 5th of Kincardine. If you would like to attend and have not received a phone call from a Lions member, contact Lion Brent at 519-368-5361 or Lion Rosemary at 519-368-7789. The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Cookie Walk Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to Noon, in the Sunday School Room.
