The Ripley Wolves were back in the win column after a 4-0 victory over the Mapleton-Minto 81s on the weekend. It was nice to give the hometown fans something to cheer for after a few tough weeks. The win leaves Ripley in fifth place, tied in points with Shallow Lake. The Wolves have played one less game then the Crushers so they sit ahead of them in the standings. Mark Stanley led the way for the Wolves with a hat-trick while Jeremy McQuillin chipped in with a goal and two assists. Nick Locking notched two assists with Alex MacLeod and Brian Stanley each adding one. Kurt Edwards had a great game in net, stopping all 32 shots he faced to pick up his first shut-out of the year.
