Wow, doesn't Ripley and area know how to put on a Christmas Parade even if it's raining? Congratulations to all participants who decorated their vehicles - from four-wheelers to trucks to tractors. The lights were just great.

Many people attended the Lucknow Christmas Parade last Friday.

Les Wardrop (who will be 96 in December) and his son Jeff Wardrop of Ottawa visited with Mary Anne Kukoly Tuesday. Les is a great encouragement for all of us who are getting older - he flew by himself from Winnipeg to Ottawa. Then Jeff drove him around our area visiting with the Wardrop connection. Hope I'm able to travel at that age.

Brian and Nancy King visited with Largaret McInnes.

Remember RVilla's Christmas Bazaar and Social Dec. 2 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Jessica Pool. She will be missed.

Sympathy also to the family of Doug MacDonald who grew up on the 6th.
