real blast of winter

A first blast of winter hits the Kincardine area Wednesday morning

Kincardine-area residents woke up with a bit of a shock Wednesday morning to find about three inches of snow on the ground, after weeks of warm, rainy weather.

The wet snow hanging from trees and blanketing the ground was rather pretty unless you were trying to walk or drive through it.

Snowplows were out early clearing the roads and by the afternoon the sun was out melting the snow away.
