Special Olympics holds area tournament in Port Elgin

Special Olympians from the southwestern region of Special Olympics Organization (SOO) of Ontario Curling Association (OCA) competed on Saturday in Port Elgin.

Seven teams from Kincardine, Vanastra and Port Elgin participated to determine the team that would move on to the next level of the Dominion Tankard Curling. 

The winning team will play in Welland on January 15th and, then on February 12th, the two winning teams, from the southwest area and the southeast area, will play off at the Men's Tankard to be held in Stratford.
