'Ugly Christmas Sweater Night' a fundraiser for Christmas

On Saturday night, anyone who had an ugly Christmas sweater got together at the Phoenix Lounge in Southampton to raise money for the Salvation Army Christmas projects.

The event was organized by five young women in Southampton who wanted to raise Christmas money for the Salvation Army and its projects such as the Toy Drive and Food Bank

Many local businesses donated silent auction items valued at over $4,200 while musician Chris Yenney kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.
