Friday night, the Tiverton Thunder Atom Local League team played Kincardine No. 1 in Tiverton as the visitors for an exhibition game. 

Missing goalie Austin Brown and winger Spencer Adams, the Thunder called up Rebekah Ballagh from the Tiverton Novice team to help bolster the line-up.

David Ballagh started the scoring late in the first period, with an assist from Paige Santha, only to have Kincardine tie the game a minute later. 

Second-period action was back-and-forth with chances at both ends, but there was no scoring.

In the third period, Tiverton scored four unanswered goals with David Ballagh scoring two more for a hat-trick, with assists to Brittany Norman and Paige Santha. 

Brady McGillivray scored unassisted, late in the period, to give Tiverton a 5-1 win over Kincardine, extending the Thunder's undefeated streak yet again. 

Great supporting roles by Rebekah Ballagh, Emma Arnold, Dana Craig, and Jason Convay who made a debut at centre on this occasion. J. D. Flood played well as back-up goaltender.

Sunday afternoon, the Tiverton Thunder LL Atoms were on the road to play the Kincardine No. 2 LL team in Kincardine at the Davidson Centre. 

Mid-way through the first period, J. D. Flood and David Ballagh teamed up to lead Tiverton in the scoring. 

Late in the second frame, Brady McGillivray scored with Jason Convay getting the assist. 

Then, with two minutes left in the game, David Ballagh scored, unassisted, and 10 seconds later J. D. Flood scored with a little help from Dana Craig. Tiverton took the win, 4-0.

Solid goaltending preserved the shut-out for Austin Brown, the first of the season for him! Solid performances were given by Spencer Adams, Brittany Norman, Emma Arnold, Paige Santha, and Luke McBride.

The Thunder sits at five wins, zero losses and two ties, so far this season!
