We are trapped in an environment that actually encourages obesity. The result – approximately three out of every five Grey-Bruce residents are overweight or obese. The PLAY in Bruce-Grey physical activity strategy is out to change that. PLAY in Bruce-Grey invites municipalities in Bruce and Grey counties to celebrate the “Shortest Day of PLAY” countywide challenge. Wednesday, Dec. 21, marks the first day of winter and is the shortest day of the year! All community members residing in Bruce and Grey counties are invited and encouraged to participate. The top three municipalities who log the most number of PLAY hours will receive media recognition and the right to boast their success!
