KDSS Knights boys hockey team wins in Walkerton

The Kincardine District Secondary School boys hockey team improved to 3-0-1 on the season with a 6-2 win on the road Wednesday.

A short-handed KDSS team cruised past the Walkerton District Secondary School Raiders, led by a natural hat-trick from Mitch Dickson. 

In a span of nine minutes, Dickson turned a 2-0 game into a 5-0 contest.

Jory Norman and Brody Hayes each added a goal and two assists, while Payton Dunlop had a goal and an assist. 

Kenny Harris, Coulten Hendrie, Brad Mangotich and Mike Osadca each picked up a single helper. Easton Battler posted the win in goal.

These teams will meet again Wednesday at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. Game time is 2 p.m.
