The Kincardine Community Singers are putting the final touches on their annual Christmas concert, "Gloria," slated for next weekend at Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine.

And if Wednesday night's dress rehearsal is any indication, the concert is a fine mix of traditional Christmas carols and beautiful pieces from around the world, as well as some fabulous arrangements of familiar Christmas songs.

The 70-member choir is under the direction of Patt Lowry, with accompanist John Low. Former accompanist Pat Fox will also be at the keyboard for several ensemble numbers.

Guest soloist is Jennifer Carey Hunter with her powerful and captivating voice, accompanied by Lowry.

The concert runs Saturday, Dec. 10, and Sunday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m., Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine.

Tickets are $12 each in advance, and $5 each for children; available at Jerome Flowers and Gifts, Kincardine, and The Village Flower Shop in Ripley. Admission at the door is $15.
