More than 200 people gathered at Kincardine United Church for some tremendous vocal and instrumental Christmas music, performed by the Kincardine Community Concert Band and the Ripley-Huron Community School choir.

Mary Kloosterboer directs the 40-member band, while Janet Browne was in charge of the choir, with 35 of the 58 members present. The choir members are in Grades 4-6.

The choir was a true delight, singing such favourites as "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus," while wearing sunglasses and swinging to the music. Of note, was soloistSerena Rutledge singing "Where Are You Christmas?"

And the band provided some magnificent medleys of Christmas music, introduced by MC Katie Kloosterboer.

The Kincardine Brass Band presents its Christmas program Sunday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m., at Kincardine United Church.
