Joe Casciano (C) helps his daughters, Rina (L) and Elizabeth, both in Grade 3, pick out a Kuerig reindeer Christmas ornament to take home at the Artisan Fair held at St. Anthony's School, Kincardine, Saturday morning

A beautiful array of Christmas crafts and ornaments was on display in the gymnasium at St. Anthony's School, Kincardine, Saturday morning.

It was an Artisan Fair, with items created by students at the school, in support of their Free The Children project in Sierra Leone, Africa, and to support a local organization.

There was everything from reindeer candy canes and Kuerig reindeer Christmas ornaments, to fancy wallets and plants.

Grade 8 student Brontae Hunter said the money raised from the event will be split, with half going to Community Living of Kincardine and District, and the other half going toward the alternative income projects in the Village of Makeni.

Besides the artwork, there were plenty of baked goods, plus goodies and refreshments to enjoy at the Artisan Fair.
