Every year, Saugeen District Secondary School's Gr. 11 Drama Class performs a children's theatre play at local elementary schools in Saugeen Shores.

This year, the class is performing 'Alice', an unusual take on Alice in Wonderland.  Written by student Lindsay Price, the play is being produced for the class with a special arrangement with TheatreFolk (www.theatrefolk.com )

The students will perform during the day on December 21st at Port Elgin's Saugeen Central school and Northport and Southampton's G.C.Huston Public School, with a final performance at Saugeen District Secondary School in the evening at 6:30 p.m.

Spokesperson, Ellie Berry, explains that it is difficult to get to all the schools and that's why they are performing in the evening as well.  "For students or anyone else who cannot see it during the day, we are holding an evening performance."

Tickets are only $5 at the door and all the money goes back in to the drama program.
