Bring the whole family this coming Saturday, December 17 to the OSCVI Auditorium in Owen Sound for a fundraiser to help a family battling the dreaded cancer.

There will be a silent auction and a comedic theatrical presentation of "A Christmas Carol" at the OSCVI. The "Nearly World Famous" Dufflebag Theatre is donating the show for the Rourke family to help offset extra costs of fighting the deadly disease of cancer for a family.

Doors open at the OSCVI at 1:00 for the silent auction, seating in the auditorium begins at 1:30 and Showtime is 2:00pm. We'll wrap up the auction immediately following the show.  Donations for the silent auction are numerous, and merchants we have approached have been very generous, honestly, it's been so heart-warming.

WHY A FUNDRAISER????

Fighting cancer isn’t cheap for a family - The Dufflebag Theatre fundraiser is being held to help offset extra costs for the Rourke Family of Desboro.

Their 18 yr old son, Brendan, a student at OSCVI, is fighting a rare and stubborn cancer. Brendan is an incredible kid - he was involved in a variety of activities at school, notably athletics and music, before he became sick and was also voted Valedictorian at his class graduation last year.

COST: Admission is donation at the door - (we are suggesting $10pp or $30family) and would love to fill the room with some laughter and positive energy for this family!!!!!
