The local Saugeen Shores Rotary Clubs once again took part in helping fill Christmas hampers through the Salvation Army for families in Saugeen Shores. The clubs contributed $1,000 worth of turkeys and Christmas hams that they collected and delivered to the Salvation Army for the hampers.

... with the next stop at Harrigan's 100 mile food market in Southampton, where Mary Ellen Harrigan gave them a hand to load more turkeys

"Sometimes" "said John Conlin, "we have found that there are shortages of various food stuffs and that's when we get on the phone and ask donors to make up the differences. We've never yet been disappointed."
Marcel Legault of Legault's Independent Grocers also delivered a truck filled with potatoes and carrots
