The Northport 'Glee Club' entertained with a 'rocking' Christmas song

The gymnasium was filled to overflowing for the annual Northport Public School Christmas concert as people lined up outside the auditorium to take in the Christmas music.

The Northport Senior Band began the evening with a medley of Christmas music and was followed up by the unusual 'Bucket Drumming Brigade' performing on upturned buckets donated by the local Home Hardware store.

The program featured a wide variety of musical styles including a duet played by accomplished flautists, Cassara Liu and Rebecca Rayner who played the traditional English, Greensleeves.
