The Kincardine Realtors held their annual Christmas luncheon Dec. 9 at the Walker House in Kincardine. The traditional gift exchange was replaced with a challenge to raise money to help local residents struggling with food and shelter expenses. Thirty-seven realtors and support staff raised $1,352 which was donated to the Christmas hamper program for grocery vouchers to help those in need. Also at the luncheon, six long-serving, retired members of the Kincardine real estate community were recognized (roasted) for their service and tenure in the industry. The following have retired: Mike Palmer and Tom Culbert of Royal LePage Exchange, Norm Smith, Dave MacKenzie and Ann Gordon of Royal LePage Kincardine Real Estate, and Robert Scott of Re/Max Land Exchange.
