It's officially winter and the Victoria Park Gallery, located in the Kincardine Arts Centre in downtown Kincardine, has switched to its winter hours.

You are welcome to visit the gallery Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 3 p.m. It is also open during Kincardine Theatre Guild performances.

The gallery has donated $600 to Kincardine artist Betty Conlin to improve security at the labyrinth in the Geddes Memorial Park, south of the arts centre. The money will be used mainly for lighting.

And Margriet Van Erp is the winner of the multi-artist easel painting of the fountain at St. Andrews Park in Tiverton. Santa Claus made the draw during the Kincardine parade Dec. 3.

For more information about the Victoria Park Gallery, visit it at 707 Queen St., Kincardine, or call 519-396-6699, or check out the website at www.vpgallerykincardine.com
