Sunday,  January 8th, is known as Plough Sunday and the first Full Moon arrives on Plough Monday at the second hour and 30th minute.  It is also known as the Full Wolf Moon.

Other names from North America are the Sioux' Frost in the Teepee Moon  and the Algonquins' "Not Enough Strength To Thaw Moon."

The  Chinese call it the Holiday Moon and the early Americans simply called it the Winter Moon
