About a dozen Grade 8 students and siblings from Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School, and 10 volunteer drivers and helpers, collected empty bottles and cans during a fund-raising bottle drive in Tiverton Saturday morning.

The group dispersed in four trucks to gather the goods throughout the village. The empties were brought back to the home of Marshall and Lisa Byle where they were sorted and taken to the The Beer Store in Kincardine for reimbursement.

The event raised $427 in empties, and $92 in cash donations.

The students and parents appreciate the generous support of the community.
