After winning the regional championships held in Port Elgin, the Northport Cougars volleyball teams moved on to the Bluewater County Championships held yesterday (Jan. 24) in Wiarton and Sauble Beach. Both the girls' and boys' teams came through retaining their championship status. The girls' team defeated Beaver Valley in the final set, bringing home the championship for the second year, while the boys' team defeated Owen Sound's Hillcrest team, coming home as champions for the third year in a row.
