To the Editor re the recent CAO response, What a load of flotsam and jetsam! I'm being polite for once - agricultural waste by-products from a barn stall would be more accurate, in my humble opinion and, having much experience, I am close to being an expert on this subject.
Best, Michael Crossling Port Elgin To the Editor: Is this a joke? This CAO said nothing. It was a standard 'ignore it and it will go away' attitude. Many boaters have made this their summer lives for years but they seem to have no input to anything. What's up with that? Is this a democracy? It's my understanding, people in that harbor are paying big bucks for the privilege of tying up boats but have no say in anything? The town had better get it together cause there are lots of other options on a lake as big as Huron.
