The Northport Public School boys and girls Volleyball teams have won the Northwest Regional Volleyball Tournaments held at SDSS on Wednesday, January 18th! Both teams will now compete for the County Championship on Tuesday, January 24th. The boys will play in Wiarton, and the girls in Sauble Beach. This is the third year in a row for both teams to win the title. "A big cougar thank you to our awesome coaches Mr. Smith and Mrs. Gowanlock for the girls' team, and Mr. Dennis for the boys' team," says Principal Bill Colley. Both the boys and the girls teams are reigning County Champions and are looking forward to the challenge of defending their titles next week.
