The Bruce Children are Special Foundation would like to send a very special thank you to everyone who contributed to the Christmas programs this year.

Thanks to the support of the people in our community, the foundation was able to provide 289 children with a Christmas Hamper, 32 special youth ages 18 - 21 with a gift card and 31 families a sponsor.

“Donations were down this year but we managed to make it so that no child in Bruce County would go without something special under the tree” says Cherie Borho, Administrator to the Bruce Children are Special Foundation. “We couldn’t have done it without the help of the community.”

Along with a gift, each family received a $25 gift card per child to go towards helping with the cost of their Christmas meal.

It isn’t too late to make a financial donation towards this past year’s Christmas program. Call 1-888-807-7773 ext 262 or visit www.brucecas.ca/foundation for more information. Donations can also be made online at www.canadahelps.org.
