The Tiverton and District Lions Club has a wonderful way to commemorate the life of a loved one who has passed away. Purchase a tree for that special person and it will be added to the club's growing forest, planted along the Tiverton Walk of Memories, located between the Tiverton Sports Centre and the Tiverton Library. The recipient's name will also be engraved on a brass plaque, posted along the Walk of Memories. The cost of a tree and plaque is $350, and each is commemorated in an annual dedication ceremony. This year's ceremony will be held June 10 at 2 p.m. The deadline to order trees is April 1. For more information, contact Bob Simpson at 519-396-5486 or by E-mail at bbsimpson@tnt21.com This is a not-for-profit community service operated by the Tiverton Lions.
