The sun was shining, a light snow was falling and the temperature was warmer than it had been all week, making Saturday a beautiful winter's day in Kincardine.

The shoreline of Lake Huron, along Goderich Street, was awash in ice and snow, and properties along that roadway were blanketed in fluffy, white snow, making everything quiet, peaceful and serene.
