(PORT ELGIN, ON) - Members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (Project “P”), OPP Technological Crime Unit, South Bruce OPP detachment and the Saugeen Shores Police Service have arrested and charged two Bruce County men, following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.

Jan. 24, police executed search warrants at two different residences in Bruce County; one in Port Elgin and one in Chesley. As a result of these investigations, five computers and external media were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.  

Wilfred ‘Ryan’ CLENDINNING, 29, of Port Elgin, is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused was to appear for a bail hearing Jan. 25, in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton.

William Clifford MASON, 45, of Chesley, is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused was to appear for a bail hearing Jan. 25, in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton.

The investigation is continuing.
