Jory Norman scored in double overtime to give Kincardine its first-ever Midget "B" International Silver Stick title Sunday in Forest, Ontario.

It was Norman's second goal, and third point, in Sunday's 3-2 win over Mt. Brydges. Gerrit Satosek had the other goal in this championship game, which featured a bit of everything - including a penalty shot for Mt. Brydges in the first overtime period.

Kincardine played extremely shorthanded in both the championship game, and the semi-final, after five Kincardine skaters were ejected from the tournament following a scrum in a game against Florida. No gloves were dropped, but game officials handed out fighting majors to every skater on the ice to eject 10 players in total.

Despite the short bench, Kincardine out-worked Mt. Brydges in the final to bring an International title back for the WOAA.

Kincardine beat Mt. Brydges 2-1 to open the tournament Friday in Forest, and later in the day beat Tavistock 3-0. In that wild Friday game with Brandon, Florida, the Kinucks lost 3-2 in overtime, but bounced back to shut out the same team 4-0 in the semi-final.

Spencer Montgomery had two shut-outs in Kincardine's net, and was named to the tournament's All-Star team. Joining him on the All-Star team was Satosek, Mitch Dickson and Michael Osadca.
