Please look at the big picture!

If you consider the results of the recent bird studies in our region (Ripley/Kincardine), you will find that wind turbines and wildlife do mix.

After Christmas, we showed our friends from Toronto the turbines and were delighted to spot a snowy owl peacefully sitting on a hydro pole close by.

Many farmers around the world confirm that their animals' health is excellent in the presence of wind turbines.

I do agree that there is room for improvement with how wind developers approach communities and set up wind parks. Mike Crawley knows that I am one of his critics but I applaud him for having a vision for our beautiful country.

We should switch gears and explore the option of community ownership of renewable energy projects.

I believe that sharing royalty income with neighbours and putting in place property indemnification agreements are some ways of living in harmony.
