The Kincardine District Secondary School Knights Aquatic faced off against West Hill of Owen Sound at the invitational swim meet held at the Davidson Centre Thursday afternoon. Four other high schools were invited to the event, but St. Mary's of Owen Sound and Walkerton District cancelled due to to scheduling, Sacred Heart in Walkerton had to cancel due to the stormy weather, and John Diefenbaker of Hanover failed to arrive, likely due to the bad weather. However, KDSS and West Hill dove into the competition, with strong results from both teams. Three KDSS swimmers clocked CWOSSA-qualifying times at the meet: Jenna Gade in junior girls 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle; Matt Woodhall in junior boys 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle; and Morgan Shaw in senior boys 50m freestyle.
