Goderich looking for support to become 'Hockeyville' |

The community of Goderich is vying for the title of 'Hockeyville' in the 2012 Kraft competition. The” Kraft Hockeyville” competition is a unique opportunity for the residents. The tornado in 2011 taught the community how to support each other through difficult times. This competition takes what was learned and translates it into a celebration of community inclusive of the vulnerable populations that reside within. Although the focus is on Goderich’s long and successful hockey history and wrapping the community’s enthusiastic support around its’ young athletes, the real win is the spirit that is spreading and thriving in this community. Goderich is “Hockeyville” – the place where HOCKEY lives in Canada. Canadian Community News is proud to support this Goderich initiative.
