South Bruce OPP report thefts, break-in, and suspicious man arrested

BREAK, ENTER AND VEHICLE THEFT

(KINLOSS TWP, ON) – Jan. 29, at 9:59 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a break, enter and theft from a residence along Bruce County Road 1, Kinloss Township.

Sometime between 1-9:30 p.m. Jan. 29, the home was entered through a window. A quantity of cash and a pick-up truck were taken.

The vehicle is a white 1998 Ford F150 XLT Extended Cab pick-up, hard white tonneau cover, VIN No. 2FTZX1765WCB08621; and Licence No. 6261XV.
The value of the stolen items is estimated to be more than $5,000. 

PERSONAL MOBILITY SCOOTER BATTERY CHARGER STOLEN

(CHESLEY, ON)Jan. 29, at 2:13 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a scooter battery charger theft from the Pine Crest Apartments along 2nd Street South East in Chesley.  

Sometime between 1-2 p.m. Jan. 29, the battery charger was taken from a common area of the building.  he stolen charger is a small box-style, blue Shoprider with an estimated value of $675.  

SUSPICIOUS MAN ARRESTED

(WALKERTON, ON)Jan. 27, at 12:31 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of two suspicious men on Scott Street in Walkerton.  

Officers located the men and found one to be in possession of illegal drugs. 18-year-old Joshua GOSSE of Mildmay has been charged with two counts of Possess a controlled substance and seven counts of Fail to comply with recognizance. He was held in custody pending the results of a show-cause hearing.

UTILITY TRAILER STOLEN

(INVERHURON, ON)Jan. 26, at 2:12 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a utility trailer theft from a residence along Bruce County Road 15, in the Hamlet of Inverhuron.  

Sometime between 6 p.m. Jan. 24, and 2 p.m. Jan. 26, the trailer was taken. It is a black 2002 utility trailer, "Gary Woods Construction" on both sides, Licence No. 9317E.
The value of the stolen trailer is estimated to be $3,500. 

 

BREAK AND ENTER AT HAWKS COLLISION

(WALKERTON, ON)Jan. 25, at 9 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a break-and-enter at Hawks Collision on Catherine Street, Walkerton. 

Sometime between 6 p.m. Jan. 24 and 6 a.m. Jan. 25, the business was forcibly entered through a pedestrian door. The list of stolen items includes three chrome paint spray guns, a Sirius Satellite radio and a Pioneer car stereo. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be $1,500.
