Kae Oliver credits good genes for her longevity.

The resident of Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine, celebrated her 100th birthday on Dec. 18, 2011.

"I'm still enjoying life," she says, relaxing in her room and pointing to a bulletin board featuring photos of her family and certificates of recognition.

"I really enjoy participating in all the activities at Trillium Court," she adds.

Mrs. Oliver has three daughters:

• Anne Louise and her husband, Allen Harrison of Kincardine; and their sons, Tim and Sara of Toronto; and Jeremy and Ann of Montreal

• Kathleen and her husband, Michael Farr of Kincardine; and their son, David and his wife Elizabeth Skakoon of South Korea; and daughter, Heather and husband Chris Maley of Ottawa and their newborn daughter

• Marjorie of London; and daughters, Sarah McNeil and John Murison; and Alison McNeil and Andrew Oldridge, all of Toronto
