The Kincardine area was hit with heavy snow overnight Saturday, and residents had to haul out shovels and snowblowers to clear their driveways Sunday morning.

About three inches of snow fell, beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, and continued throughout Sunday.

Fortunately, the high wind that hit overnight Friday had diminished so there was no sign of the inevitable Bruce County blowing and drifting snow.
