Saugeen Shores Police take on Saugeen District Secondary in Volleyball

Saugeen Shores Police Service took to the courts for a hair-raising, fundraising  game of volleyball at Saugeen District Secondary School.

Hi-fives before game time ...

... and then a strategy discussion

Funds raised from the event that included a barbeque went toward sustainability programs at the high school.

Despite some fancy serves by Chief Dan Rivett and spikes at the net by some powerful hitters, Saugeen's finest lost 25 to 23 against the younger, more agile teen team from Saugeen.

(L) Shauhrat Shabnam, Kara McKellar & Jonathan Martin cooked up BBQ after-game burgers

The game and barbeque raised $650 that was donated to the school's sustainability projects.
