This past week saw one house moved, one house taken down, and the Bluewater Summer Playhouse receive a donation toward its 2012 season.

Wednesday morning, the house that has been connected to the north end of the Amberley General Store for years, was lifted off its moorings and transported to 549 Attawandron Drive in Point Clark.

Store owner Lal Choulan said the house will be fixed up for people to live in it. He had it moved so he can eventually expand the store.

Meanwhile, the house at the east end of Lambton Street, Kincardine, formerly owned by Rick and Sharon Vanderlip, has been removed and it appears as if a new house will be built there.
