Impaired driver facing court date

(WALKERTON, ONT)June 15, at 3:39 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol in the Town of Walkerton stopped to speak with the driver of a blue Jeep Cherokee in the Tim Hortons parking lot.  

The officer found that the man had been drinking alcohol.  39-year-old Patrick LIPPERT of Elmwood has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court Aug. 13, to answer to the charge.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or send a web-tip to crimestop-gb.org, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
