It was a chilly, snowy Friday night as a crowd of brave souls ventured out into St. Andrews Park in Tiverton for the annual tree-lighting ceremony.

The Tiverton station firefighters were on hand to give tours of the new fire truck, and Santa Claus arrived to greet the children, hand out candy canes, and conduct the countdown for the tree-lighting.

The crowd enjoyed carolling and hot chocolate amidst the cheery lights in the park.
