Home and Community Support Services is about to offer clients a change when it comes to quality frozen meals delivered to residents in Saugeen Shores.

The change comes with a new food provider, Entrée Plus Foods based in Newmarket.  Established in 2003, the company supplies frozen entrée meals for seniors with a company focus exclusive to the Meals on Wheels programs.

The company has been noted for providing exceptional quality, nutrition and creative menu choices for seniors to enhance their independent lifestyle.  They are committed to providing the best tasting foods with good nutrition that have been frozen for freshness and convenience without compromising ingredients.

According to Jane Hoffstetter of Home & Community Support, the new menu will begin in August.  "I have tasted the meals," she says.  "The meats are higher quality cuts, the meals heat through more consistently and there is a much wider variety of choice.  The salt content is low and the nutritional value of each meal is geared toward seniors."
