With a potential storm brewing overhead, the Kincardine Re/Max Under-12 girls team took on visiting Hanover.

The game was dominated from the first kick by the Re/Max team with Jennelle Smeltzer opening the scoring barrage.

Leah Pfeffer got her swagger back with two goals while others went to Smeltzer, Amelia Arciszewski, Nika Bajaj and Payton McCormick.

The defence had little trouble, turning back a slowly-mounting Hanover offence, and Hailey Van Den Hogen easily saved the only shot against.

Lily Freiburger, in her quest for a goal, generated lots of chances but couldn't find the back of the net.

Keep working hard, girls!
