(L) Victoria Weber & Nicole Weber of 'Stuff the Bus' accept a major donation from Marcel Legault on behalf of Port Elgin Rotary

The annual 'Stuff the Bus' campaign is underway again this year making stops through Bruce County.

The United Way annual campaign collects much needed school supplies for children and, each year, the demand continues to grow.

The 'bus' made a stop Wednesday (Aug. 8) at Legault's Independent Grocers in Port Elgin, Saugeen Shores where people were generous with cash donations, backpacks and school supplies.

Marcel Legault, past President of the Port Elgin Rotary Club, said that, "The club has also donated $500 this year and that was immediately turned in to school backpacks and supplies."

The bus has stopped at Hanover and will continue on from Saugeen Shores to Kincardine and the Bruce Power site.
