(DURHAM, ON) – Aug. 22 at 6:30 p.m., Tyler HILTZ was arrested in the Town of Durham following a short foot chase. He was unlawfully at large following his escape from custody at the Walkerton court house Aug. 20. HILTZ will have two new charges added for his next appearance at court: Escape lawful custody and Assault a peace officer. The South Bruce OPP appreciates the support of the media and the calls received from the public to assist with this matter. The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or send a web-tip to crimestop-gb.org, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
