The recent earthquake in Haiti has spurred the Grade 10 class of Mrs. Darlington-Smith and Science teacher, Mr. Franklin, to initiate a fundraising campaign.

A group of students began the campaign Thursday in the school and, as of Friday, had already raised approximately $100.

The money raised will go to the Red Cross and its efforts to deal with the people of Haiti in this time of crisis.

The students will continue their fundraising campaign throughout next week and anyone in the community can also contribute through the high school.
