On behalf of the parent council of Saugeen District Secondary School, we would like to thank the SDSS staff for introducing an exciting new program at the school.  It is called a "Specialist High Skills Major" program and it is for the energy sector.   

The SHSM - Energy program is a two year program designed to provide students in grades 11 and 12 with skills training and customized learning opportunities tailored to the energy sector.  The program also provides sector-recognized certifications.  The program will assist our students considering any of the 4 possible post-secondary streams of university, college, apprenticeships or to the workplace.
